We produce
non-partisan video, audio and website programs to educate, motivate and
empower ordinary Americans to recognize the crucial tipping
points facing America and to invest their time and talent
in solving our country's challenges. We need to
find new ways to have substantive public dialog that fosters collaboration, not confrontation and
political paralysis, in dealing with our nation's issues.
The Center for America is
a 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004.
Thomas Jefferson said, “I
know of no safe depository of the ultimate powers of the
society but the people themselves; and if we think them not
enlightened enough to exercise their control with a
wholesome discretion, the remedy is not to take it from them
but to inform their discretion by education.”
We take this admonition
seriously. It energizes our commitment to bring
forward leaders from the front lines of business, government
and community life whose experiences and ideas can open new
avenues of progress for America.
Rebuilding America’s
prosperity in the global marketplace of the 21st century
requires us to change our culture of polarization and to
refocus on the fundamental values that have characterized
the American experience. One of these is Free Enterprise,
the genesis of our prosperity and the only sustainable
source of new jobs and innovation.
We need to
find ways to reduce barriers to entrepreneurship, including
excessive liability, lawsuit abuse and over-regulation.
Through our partnership
with Salem Radio Network and our team's extensive media
outreach, CFA’s multimedia programs reach millions every
week, presenting challenges, ideas and opportunities for
Americans in all walks of life to bring
leadership to their communities – to make a
difference for the better.
We hope you will harvest
value from our work and look for opportunities to partner
with us. There is a lot to be achieved and not a
moment to
lose!
